Theme music is by Tom Smith from the track “I fought the Troll” and you can see more of his excellent work here.
This episode may hold the record for the “largest” UK Podcast, with myself near London in the south, Roy near the middle in Manchester and Thistleweb (Gordon Sinclair) in Scotland. We covered the length of the UK for this show!
This was a particularly special episode for me because it afforded Roy and I the opportunity to chat with Gordon Sinclair (Thistleweb) a person who until this episode was merely a handle in an IRC chat room who I conversed with.
Gordon turned out to be a friendly, funny and knowledgable chap and I now have a voice that I can place with his text in IRC. I would strongly recommend you check out what Gordon is doing. A great chap.
All three of us talk about Linux Mint with Gordon’s experiences taking center stage (and rightfully so) then we move off on our usual tangents talking about FOSS software, Microsoft and end on the next horror story: Windows Phone 7.
Dr Schestowitz writes his own show notes (as well as hosting the show) You can visit his website/notes for show 8 here.
