Andre's a great "pot of honey" the flys will always be near him. For that reason alone Andres Twitter and blog are invaluable.

I keep an eye on a few other select accounts who lead me to some serious shillers. The only reason I dont mind mentioning Andres Twitter is that I dont believe he is very important in the grand scheme of things.

That cannot be said about the others I watch!

Ralph says:
"On some other site which I won’t mention…(Vista Blorge) there is a frequent poster who says he uses Linux and then goes on to put it down….kinda wondering if that is the new Redmond Game Plan. Pose as a Linux user…then go on to trash it."
---------------------------------------------------------
How many times have we seen this strategy before from the M$ shills at MSWatch? Usually they pretend to be Solaris or SUSE users. The fact is that many of the Microsoft MVP's also are some of its biggest $hills out there, not all, but a lot of them. Just look at some of the MVP's that Andre hangs out with, Joe Obeto, and MVP that runs sites that are most likely funded with, and by, the same company that does "just the fact" sites. The question is, does the V (for value) in MVP stand for the spreading of FUD as the thing that M$ values most?

By definition, an MVP must spend a substantial amount of time programming.
To win an award for being above other MVPs, we can safely agree that this must constitute the majority on the Windows platform.
I.E. A hardcore Windows user.

To be a "hardcore user" on both platforms, and to win an award on one, the MVP is the best programmer on Earth.

OR...

This is a simple problem of probability :

If Programmer X spends Y hours developing on Windows.
And spends K hours developing on Linux...

Y hours should be substantially greater than K hours by virtue of the above award winning MVP prerequisite.

I.E. Just as you can't drive two cars at once, you cannot be a hardcore Linux user and award winning MVP at the same time. MVP status is given to those who are on top of current technologies for the platform and produce quality work.

Unless his definition of "hardcore user" on Linux constitutes the ability to use sudo, I think the inactive account speaks for itself.
